Madeline Stuart, the teen model whose inspiring photos went viral last year, is taking a leap forward for the fashion industry. 

If you know fashion at all, you know that the industry has never been keen on featuring anyone other than stick-thin walking clotheshangers. If your BMI is above 18 (borderline anorexic) and are below 5' 8", you shouldn't even think about modelling...

Until now. 18-year old Miss Stuart is going to be the first ever model with Down's Syndrome to walk New York Fashion Week in association with the Christopher Reeve Foundation. NYFW starts 10th September.
